Find Fast & Replace

 

The "Find Fast & Replace" is available from Main menu - "Extras":



 
 
Please note:
Before "Find Fast & Replace" action, select the appropriate Container. If you select "Root" container, all users inside the domain will be available for searching. If you select "Users" container for example, action will be done only for this container. Of course you can specify later "Extra Restriction" by few fields. 
 
Our tasks (example):

- to change "Manager" field, form "DNP Manager" to "The Big Boss" for these users, where "Department" is "Marketing" and "Office" is equal to "212 North" 
 

Select the target ADSI attribute from list.

Select the Manager

1. Select the target attribute from list.

2. Select the current Manager.
 

Select the target Manager

Select "Extra Restrictions"

3. Select the target Manager.

4. Select "Extra Restriction", to get only users from "Marketing" Department, Office "212 North"
 
"Extra Restrictions" "Preview"

5. Add the "Restrictions" (if you need it).

 6. Click over "Preview" button,
to see pre-action result
 
Select and Applay This is all

6. You can exclude any user from returned list, simply "uncheck" it.
Then press "Apply" button. 

7. This is all.
